Are our panelbeaters Approved?
All our panel beaters are RMI/SAMBRE approved. Should you vehicle be under warranty, we have panel beaters that are OEM approved as well.
Do we have a car rental option?
Car rental options are usually provided through your insurance however we are in partnership with Pace Car Rental who provide competitive rates to all our ClearQuote clients.
How long have we been in business?
ClearQuote first went live in September 2018.
How does the repair process work?
Once an incident has been created for your vehicle, an assessor will be in contact with you to assess your vehicle. Thereafter, parts suppliers and panel beaters bid for the work online. Repair dates are specified so you get the cheapest quote in the quickest time.
What is your vetting process for panel beaters on your system?
We set up a meeting with the panel beaters, have a look at their company profile, perform a credit check and lastly complete a site inspection.
Do we carry a workmanship guarantee?
All repairs carry a workmanship guarantee from a minimum of one year. All paint carries a lifetime guarantee.
What happens after the assessment?
Your vehicle gets uploaded into the system for all suppliers to bid on the job.
How long will it be until I am notified for my vehicle to come in for repairs?
Between 24 to 48 hours depending on whether your claim is through insurance.
Does the company have insurance for any further damages on my vehicle?
Yes, we cover any damage to your vehicle that was incurred under our supervision.
What happens when there is a delay in the repair progress of my vehicle?
We will notify you well in advance. In extreme cases we are able to arrange a rental vehicle for you.
Is ClearQuote an authorised repairer?
We are the chosen service provider for insurance companies. We do not complete repairs ourselves but merely facilitate the process.
How does it work for me to submit any additional repair work on my vehicle?
Just let us know! We will send you through a quotation for approval.
How do I pay my excess?
We will send you an invoice once your vehicle has passed our quality checks. You are more than welcome to do an EFT payment or swipe your card once you get here.
If I am not satisfied with repair work done, what do I do?
Notify us of anything you are unhappy with and we will do our best to rectify the issue in a timeous manner.
Who pays for the fuel used in my vehicle?
The only fuel we cover is when the fuel is well below what is was brought in with.
Should I remove my spare wheel and tools?
There is no need to. We do a check-in passport as well as take pictures before and after the repairs are completed.
